Getting your children to talk to you

Children are a gift from god.beautiful if a little baby girl and handsome if a diddy boy. But their innocence and way of life can be confused for being cranky, withdrawn, stubborn, and irritating the list goes on.
In today’s society our little ones are faced with so many challenges, trials and much growing up to do that…communicating can be a huge problem.
You as a parent ought to strive to be open, so  that your children can open up and be at ease with you about the big things in their lives and even the small.
To do this emphasize on:-them having their own space. Don’t ever force them to tell you anything. It shall come out naturally.
Spend time with your children. No one else can replace the feeling and the joy for your little one, when they know you have ample time for them in your hands and you are willing to be there.
Play with your children, exercise with them or do fun activities together. At this point they will always bear in mind that you are like a best friend to them…and will share their life with you
Never judge your little one…when they do something wrong…point them in the right direction and not at their mistake.
Address your children by name. For every time you call them by their name they feel important and accord you the attention you seek to find.
Be kind, offer solutions and also share your life experiences as a friend and you will be on the pathway to being best friends forever and for life with your children… and they will know that there is no problem under the sun that cannot be solved by dialogue…a good talk!
