Yesterday I got lost Originally I was destined somewhere As I looked round The more I got lost I found myself on a street This street looked strange It was so far off Far off the road The road of intention The road of attention The road had festering worms It's smell appalling It's inhabitants in short dresses Men who greeted and I could not respond I did not know their language I did not sing their tune I got off from that road Took a detour A boy with a bicycle swung past me His basket carrying two soft drinks Both fell to the ground I whispered 'sorry' He went his way And I promised  to say a prayer I wondered to myself How many live a life undeserved How many know not tomorrow Watch them Say a prayer for them They need it Perhaps more then I Perhaps more then you Talk of selling your soul to the devil The real devil is you!
