BENEFITS OF WALKING: MORE THAN JUST WALKING by Trony Valentine Ingati

Exercise is essential. It is sometimes interesting to hear of individuals who cannot stand exercise!
If the gym is where you would rather not be… perhaps you can try out… walking as your new exercise regime.
You don’t need much to walk other than, a good pair of proper fitting shoes that can fade the impact and off you go to enjoying one good walk.
Walking helps one feel good about themselves as well as increases appreciation of nature and awareness of things around them.
Walking reduces your blood pressure and improves how your heart functions.
Walking helps build muscle strength and great endurance. This is vital for healthier bones and joints
If stress gets the best of you try walking. This should sweep your troubles away.
Walking can get your weight in control and help you keep that weight away.
Walking also keeps aging at bay. By giving you a good heart rate, thus reducing cholesterol and hence building muscle you burn the fat and look way younger than you ought to.
If you crave brain power, walking is something you would like to try. Research now shows that walking gives one better understanding.
Walking reduces the risk of breast, colon cancers and prevents type 2 diabetes.
So now you now you know… if a healthy heart and fitness is your goal…get walking!
No wonder we do not hear of Jesus swimming, dancing, playing football and the likes. Instead he walked!

J C Leroux Wine Tasting : A Delight!

Good events are a rare case in Nairobi, not to forget a good drink. Willam Soklin, a  New York wine merchant once said, " What is  the definition of good wine? It should start  and  end with a smile." True to that saying, the wine was plenty and delightful at the J C Leroux wine tasting held at Alliance Francaise yesterday, 10th May,2012. The  wine tasting  courtesy  of J C Leroux  Sparkling Wine  from Distell Winemasters opened the 21st  European Film Festival at Alliance Francaise with participating countries including: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Serbia & Switzerland.   Below are  the sights and sounds of  the crowd and the wine, J C Leroux in sweet and dry variants that  paired up with the all sorts of cheeses and made the cocktail worth the while. It Has Been A Long While...

I do like my blog! However, I must confess, I abandoned it for a long while. So, maybe I can turn a new leaf and go back to writing? Hmm... Well, I will give it a shot. There is a whole lot to talk about, so let us get to it, shall we? " Don't Just Sit There. Do Something!" You see, I like to see businesses and people thrive. Their pain becomes my pain; their hurdles mine too. If it weren't so, why would I wake up aspiring for that morning sunshine, driven by their ambitions, teamed up with a necessity for the great pursuit. For whom; for what? Is it to be up held by the gentle relief, an ounce of 'better.' In wrapping these meandering good yet defined thoughts, I have come to the dear conclusions to roll-up sleeves of my own and all those who will and get involved. "Don't just sit there. Do something." I am reminded of that common wall paper that sits pretty in the washroom that were. If you will, manners and duty awaits.
