Fibroids are noncancerous tumors that develop within the uterus. Fibroids affect women over the age of 30.
However women under 20 may also have fibroid growths. The cause of uterine fibroids are sometimes unknown. However, fibroid growth may rapidly increase depending on estrogen hormone levels. As much as it is not a proven fact that eating less meat, fish and dairy products may lessen the growth of fibroids. It has been proven that women who eat less animal products are less likely to suffer from symptoms of fibroids.Non-organic vegetables and fruits may also subject one to fibroid growths that are rapid. This is because non-organic fruits and vegetables are often sprayed by many herbicides.
One other thing to note is the storing of food should be looked into carefully. Many plastics are sources of xenoestrogens which often are widley used as industrial compounds. So keep away from soft plastic like cling film that leak into foods with foreign oestrogens!
