Pain after spinal cord injuries can  take a toll in ones life.

Many spinal cords injured persons often complain of pain.
This pain can be of the nerves, muscles, joints, bones, digestive system and sometimes psychological.

Its best to work with your physician to get quick solutions.Think happier thoughts, as this will keep depression at bay.

Find a friend that you can talk to and if so… find a counselor. When in pain, try to distract yourself, play board games or focus your attention elsewhere.

In cases where you need to get a wheel chair, find one that is accustomed just for your need.
Avoid alcohol as this will only worsen your current state.Alcohol should not be used to ease pain.

Own your life. A spinal injury set back should not limit what you can do…dream again!
