Bringing up a family is a life long journey. Once the children are out of the nest. You will have accomplished much if health wise decisions can be carried out to other generations on the way. Lesson that one ought to learn is, are very basic.
Children tend to ape the habits they see in their parents. For example, if you as another or father skip meals. Your children will start that habit too.
Skipping meals will rob them off their energy and make the unproductive.
Always have your meals together so that you can monitor your children’s bad eating habits. Meals such as breakfast should not be avoided. They kick starts the day.
Ensure that your entire family exercises for at least 30 mins three times a day.
Small children can exercise with their parent’s by playing little games around the house that will ensure they are fit and are not stationery and watching television excessively.
Enforce rules in the house that protect your children when it comes to their health. Never by fatty foods, sweets and refined products. Start your children on wholesome foods and they will keep that trend every day.
Bond with your children. In order not to create barriers with them. Read together, play together, and cook together. Talk talk talk! include your family favorites when planning for meals. So that everyone feels they belong.
And that’s how to create good habits among family members that will last many generations on end!
